When witches go riding

And black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers 'tis near Halloween!

The spooky season is upon us! Once again Jack and Bertha join us for a Halloween dinner! What a fun table to set! I love love love my Halloween Fiesta, the patterns are so perfect! Jack and Bertha have been wandering around the house, my oldest son loves moving and posing them, but for tonight, they are having dinner! (They could use a few pounds!)

It was a mix and match table! Skeletons, cats, ghosts and pumpkins! The chargers are from Dollar Tree and they have a skull in the center, but I love the border! The dinner plates are Poppy, Turquoise and vintage Ivory. The luncheon plates are from Fiesta too, so fun! The centerpiece is a dough bowl with pumpkins and my favorite crows with mini lights in purple and orange woven through.

The tablecloth is new and it's from Homegoods. When I was unpacking my Halloween tubs I found all of my mini-pumpkins and thought this patten would make a great background for the Fiesta lunch plates! The napkins are from Amazon, they work for Halloween and San Francisco Giants games!

The glassware is Fostoria pattern is Chintz, I think this is first time I've used them on a table. The silverware is from Cost Plus and is called Treble Clef. The wine for the evening is Gnarly Head's Cab, I love the Stealie on the label. I don't know if we will ever drink it, but it is a fun bottle to have on the table.

The rest of the house is decorated for Halloween too! Halloween decorating is so fun, each year I add a few pieces here and there! The Marigold soup tureen on the buffet has an appetizing mix of eyeballs and brains. YUM! The glow in the dark skull was a tequila bottle, we had to drink two bottles of it to get a matched set! The spooky Halloween trees have Patience Brewster ornaments on them, they are so whimsical!

I love the wooden signs, hubby added the lights!

This is only part of my stash of Halloween plates and tableware, I have more ideas! Stay tuned for more tablesettings!
