Have a holly jolly Christmas!

Christmas is my favorite time of year, dear hubby and I got married just before Christmas, our colors were emerald green and rose, we had holly on our invitations, on all the stationary -- it just fits that our wedding china is Lenox Holiday with holly!

I have not set a holly heavy table in years! An April Cornell tablecloth is the perfect background for this table; I worried about it being too busy but I am thrilled the way it turned out! All the patterns and colors are so festive!

The centerpiece is one I have had for years, I love the wintery frost on the pine cones and the length of it works so well on the table.

A Tommy Bahama tartan plaid charger is the base of the plate stack and set the dinner plate off from the tablecloth -- without it, I think the plate would have gotten lost in the patter of the tablecloth. Next, my wedding china, Lenox Holiday. A Christmas classic, so versatile and so elegant! An Anchor Hocking emerald green glass plate and it is topped with a side plate. I love plaids and I love mixing them! Another tartan plaid napkin with a holly napkin ring and the plates are done!

Glassware in Waterford Mourne ice tea glasses - I love the shape of them! And more Anchor Hocking bubble foot glasses in ruby red and emerald green. The colors of these glasses are so intense and Christmassy!

Silverware is Towle Candlelight. At an estate sale several years ago I found these beautiful crystal knife rests, Christmas is the perfect time of year to add this extra bit a sparkle to the table.

In my last post I shared my love of pixies, elves, gnomes and fairies. Annalee elves hanging from the chandelier and on the mantel. Their faces are adorable!

But wait, there are more! I have gnomes and elves on the tree, on the shelves on tables... I love these creatures!

And on the tree! New ones, vintage ones, kitschy ones, Lenox ones -- so cute! Elves love toadstools, so there are many many mushrooms on the tree too!

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
