Happy Halloween!

Happy Fiesta Halloween! If you've read my blog, you already know that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Each year I decorate inside and out! #1 son said, "Mom, you watch too many Hallmark movies, your decorating is over the top!" And, while that may be partly true, who doesn't love a Fiestive Halloween? (See what I did there? Fiesta -- festive?)

I absolutely love the Fiesta Halloween plates. The boo kitty on poppy, the dancing skeletons, the ghosts and the pumpkin plates are so fun! This year I bought the pumpkin plates. I wasn't sure I wanted them, because they definitely are not traditional Fiesta, but the lines and shape are not only for Halloween, but also for Fall. I just may have to buy the turquoise and lemongrass ones, I think they would be amazing in a table setting!

I added lots of sparkle and glitter to the table, because, why not? The ornaments are Christopher Radko Shiny Brites and the cat ornament is almost exactly like the cat on the plate. This table also include a lot of Dollar Store goodies! The plaid chargers are the Dollar Store as well as the sparkly pumpkins! The Dollar Store had some really cute black Dia Del Muertes chargers too, I had a hard time chosing which ones I wanted to use on the table, so I bought them both. The silver ware is from Cost Plus, pretty on the table, hard to eat with! The beautiful crocheted table cloth came from Laurel Leaf Farms. The pattern is almost identical to the one from my grandmother, but this one is a thicker cotton. It looks like it may have been white and then dyed this gorgeous pumpkin color. I can't wait to use it on other tables this Fall!

Crows are my spirit animal, they collect shiny things, hop happily down the street for no apparent reason and scream loudly when they see their friends. They are also very very smart!

The glasses I used on the table were a Home Goods purchase, the Peanuts. Part of Halloween is watching, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" The napkins came from Amazon and also double for San Francisco Giants parties!

On the buffet are Patience Brewster witches I bought years ago on spook black trees! The candlesticks are from Bauer, and while it doesn't match Fiesta poppy exactly, the color matches really well!

Finally, it wouldn't be Halloween without an appearance from Jack Straw and Bertha! This year they are sitting in the hallway at the end of foyer welcoming guests. They have their pooch with them.

A few pictures of the outside of the house. Esmeralda the Dragon is back along with the coven of witches. A new light up spider got added to the roof this year.

Wishing you and yours a very Spooky Halloween!
